What in the Name?

One day, my mom asked me, “When is your name, Gray?”

I looked up and smiled, where did you hear it?

For a very long time, a lot of writers use pseudonyms and nicknames.
dr seuss
For example:

Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American writer and illustrator best known for authoring popular children’s books under the pen name Dr. Seuss.

There are many reasons for change of names.

1. To keep low-profiles and not wanting to attract unnecessary attention.

2. To escape from criticisms or hide from authorities.

3. Just for fun.

trump2For a fact, Donald Trump got his ancestry wrong when he first announced to the world. In fact, he was the descendant of Drumpf, a German and his mother was a Scot. His first wife is a Czech, Ivana Zelníčková and his current wife is, Melanija Knavs who later on became  Melania Knauss.

The entire family is American.
And now the Trumps have problems with immigrants.

Family name is important and naming children is equally important.

Though if one were to name the children like, Ah Tu (pig), Ah Kao (dog) and Ayer Mani (semen), its still alright.

Although names can bring confidence to one, it doesn’t really matter when it comes to proving one’s worth. Be proud of one’s own name in whatever form that it is.
